The Hannaford Economic and Community Development Corporation was formed in February of 2001. Founding members of the Corporation were: Donna Hankins, Jerry Hook, Susan Goplen, Ed Everson, and Roger Rondestvedt. The mission of the Economic and Community Development Corporation is to recruit, retain and expand businesses in the City of Hannaford, and also to create a better quality of life for the residents of Hannaford.
Some past accomplishments of the corporation are the creation of the Bald Hill Market, creation of the Hannaford Beauty Salon, and purchase of the former Hannaford School building.
